LCR TEAM HIT THE MSBF IN MONACO FOR THE FIFTH YEAR

LCR TEAM HIT THE MSBF IN MONACO FOR THE FIFTH YEAR
LCR Team Manager Lucio Cecchinello and his Marketing Department collaborators joined again the Motor Sport Business Forum in Monaco last week (9-10 December). The two-day European Forum is now in its fifth year and continues to grow annually. The MSBF is the leading conference, exhibition, marketing and networking event for the global Motor Sport Industry. Each of the Forum’s four events (North America - Monaco – Asia Pacific and Middle East) offer an unrivalled opportunity to network with international motorsport professionals away from the pressures of the track and provide countless opportunities for debate and discussion!

This high profile event featured the leading teams, sponsors and stakeholders in motor sport such as Tony Fernandes – CEO Air Asia , Nick Fry – CEO Mercedes F1 (Brawn GP), Ferran Jucan – Sponsorship Director Dorna, Walter Kafitz – CEO Nurburgring Circuit, Sonja Kreye – Porsche Motorsport, Robin Fenwick – Managing Director Hilton, Gary Carey – Global Sponsorship Director Johnnie Walker, Marissa Pace – Director, European Kangaroo TV , Gerard Quinn – Motorsport Director-Europe Ford, Jacques Raynaud – Vice-Chairman Eurosport Group, Razlan Razali – CEO Sepang International Circuit, James Allen – Correspondent Financial Times, Talal Al Zain – CEO Mumtalakat Bahrain.

Amongst all those key people, LCR Team is currently the only MotoGP structure involved in this event as a delegate looking towards the future of the industry and ready to do business.

Lucio Cecchinello: “In these times of economic instability, the Motor Sport Business Forum has never been so relevant and indeed important for the Motor Sport Industry. More than ever the promoters, teams, sponsors and investors need a platform on which they can listen to new ideas, discuss sponsorship initiatives, debate current issues, network with industry professional, and negotiate deals. Besides we discuss innovative forms of sponsorship and partnership to satisfy our customers needs motivating them”.

Ferran Juncar - Dorna/MotoGP Sponsorship Director: "The key point for MotoGP I would say is that motorcycling is the entry point into motor sport. When you're a kid you're not thinking about a car, you're thinking about a motorbike. Therefore we can reach the younger audiences and I think this is a very interesting aspect of our sport."
