The 2011 came to an end recently and only two months ago Casey Stoner, Stefan Bradl and Nico Terol have been crowned World Champions but, after the Xmas break, the MotoGP start the engines! In a few days the premier class riders will be back on track for the first 2012 Winter Test at Sepang (Malaysia) on the 31st of January, 1st and 2nd of February.
The first venue of the MotoGP this year will be once again the spectacular desert race track of Losail (Qatar) and the ultimate round will be held in Valencia at the historical Ricardo Tormo circuit. Even this year the most talented riders of the world coming from Australia, Spain, Itay USA, UK, Germany, Netherland, San Marino Rep., France, Switzerland, Japan etc… aim to fight till the last corner for conquering the three classes World Titles: MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3.
18 Grand Prixs in 8 months (from March to November) visiting 13 countries with the most competitive Manufacturers (Honda, Yamaha, and Ducati) and CRT Teams (prototypes with modified production engines provided by Aprilia, BMW and Honda) will line the grid. There are more than 200 countries and territories receiving live or same-day-delayed broadcasts of the Grand Prixs, with the coverage delivered to more than 337 million households worldwide. Tens of millions of spectators enjoy MotoGP live each race weekend, with a total of more than 13.000 media personnel attending Grand Prixs throughout the season.
Every circuit on the MotoGP calendar has its own unique atmosphere, features, history and layout linked to overtaking manoeuvres, adrenaline, challenges and the warm of the fans creating an explosive cocktail of fun.
